Washington Township, OH – Serious Injuries Reported in Head-On Crash on Spring Valley Pike

Washington Township, OH (June 15, 2024) – Police in Washington Township were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash on Thursday, June 13th. The accident took place around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Spring Valley Pike and Rooks Road.

According to a report from the scene, a Mazda CX-5 was traveling eastbound on East Spring Valley Pike when the driver crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound Nissan Altima. An 8-year-old girl and the 26-year-old Nissan driver were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The Mazda driver suffered minor injuries but was not transported. No one involved in the accident has been identified. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. There is no additional information available at this time.
