The incident, reported by local authorities, occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Neil Ave. The injured person was found bleeding heavily and was immediately attended to by emergency medical responders.

According to the Dayton Police Department, the pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by a car that failed to stop in time.
