Marysville, OH – Four-Car Crash with Injuries on Rte. 33

Marysville, OH (March 27, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a four-car crash on Wednesday, March 27th. The crash occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Route 33 near State Route 274.

According to an initial report, a 2014 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Route 33. At the same time a 2016 Freightliner was traveling directly behind the Corolla. The Corolla crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2009 semi-truck. The semi-collided with the Freightliner and an Acura before three of the cars came to rest on the south side of Route 33. The driver of the Corolla was taken by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Freightliner was to by ambulance to Mary Rutan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other two drivers were treated at the scene and released. There were no other injuries reported. Police closed the road and cleared the scene while the crash was investigated. There is no word on potential charges in connection with the crash. An investigation remains ongoing. No further information is available.
