Fatal Car Accidents in Ohio

Car accidents take place in Ohio multiple times every day. Not all of these crashes will result in injuries although many of them will. According to statistics from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, more than 1,100 people per year have tragically lost their lives on Ohio’s roadways for the past several years. Many of these victims were killed in crashes that were not their fault and were caused by the actions of negligent drivers.

A fatal car accident in Ohio can take place in a matter of seconds. Often, victims are unable to take any measures to avoid the accident. While general safe driving can lower your risk of being involved in a major crash, the risk cannot be completely eliminated. If you have lost a loved one due to someone else’s negligence, you could have legal rights under Ohio law.
