Greenville Township, OH (January 15, 2024) – One person was killed in a multiple car accident in Greenville Township on Monday, January 15th. The crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on US Highway 127 near the intersection with Childrens Home Bradford Road.

According to a report from the scene, two vehicles were involved in the collision. Deputies with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office were among the first agencies to arrive. According to a report, a Chrysler and a Dodge pickup truck collided with one another. Police say that the Chrysler was traveling eastbound on Childrens Home Road when the driver failed to yield to the Dodge pickup. The ensuing collision caused the Dodge to overturn. An adult male occupant of the Dodge suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two adults and a child in the Dodge were transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the Chrysler was taken to the hospital, also with undisclosed injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified.

Police are still investigating the crash. There is no additional information available at this time.
