Greenville, OH (May 23, 2024) – Multiple people were injured in a crash that took place on Thursday, May 23 in Darke County near Greenville. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. on US Highway 127 near Children’s Home-Bradford Road.
According to an initial investigation, a Honda Odyssey was stopped at a stop sign in the eastbound lanes of US-127. The Honda tried to cross the median but was struck by a Ram 55oo utility truck driven by 23-year-old David Sheets, of Colina. Sheets and his passenger were airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital in unknown condition. A male passenger and female driver in the Honda were also airlifted to Miami Valley. Their injuries were not disclosed. Police closed the road while the accident was investigated. There is no further information available.
