Greenville, OH (March 16, 2024) – A woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Greenville on Saturday morning, March 16th. The crash took place around 9:30 a.m. on State Route 49 at the intersection with Hunter Road.

According to a report from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, a 77-year-old Greenville man was driving a black Dodge Ram westbound on Hunter Road when he stopped at the intersection with State Route 49. The driver pulled into the intersection and was hit by a tan Ford Ranger traveling southbound on State Route 49. The driver of the Ranger was identified as a 22-year-old woman from Union City, Indiana. The woman, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was transported to Wayne HealthCare to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The Ram driver was not hurt. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. It is unknown whether any charges will be filed. An investigation is ongoing.
