Dayton, OH (April 17, 2024) – Two people were killed in a crash that took place in Dayton on Wednesday, April 17th. The accident took place in the 3700 block of the Germantown Pike.

Police say that a driver was traveling westbound on Germantown Pike when their vehicle struck a semi-truck that was traveling eastbound on the same road. Two people in the car suffered critical injuries and lost their lives as a result of the crash. The two victims, who were pronounced dead at the scene, have not been identified. The driver of the semi truck sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The road was closed while the crash was investigated. Motorists were asked to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. The accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no additional information available.
