Dayton, OH – Three Hospitalized Following School Bus Crash on Ernst Ave.

Dayton, OH (May 8, 2024) – Multiple injuries were reported after a crash between a car and a school bus in Dayton on Wednesday, May 8th. The accident happened around 6:20 a.m. on Ernst Avenue near the intersection with Newport Avenue.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, a school bus and a Dodge Caliber collided with each other at the intersection. The school bus and the Caliber sustained heavy damage as a result of the collision. The driver and two children aboard the bus were hurt and were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Caliber was not hurt but was charged in connection with the crash. There is no word on exactly how the collision occurred at this time. An investigation is underway. No further information has been released.
