Centerville, OH (February 5, 2024) – Police in Centerville have identified the victim of a deadly car accident on Friday, February 2nd. The crash took place around 8:15 p.m. on West Social Sow Road near the intersection with Yankee Trace.

According to a report from the scene, two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision when one of the vehicles crossed left of center. A vehicle flipped over following the collision. When paramedics arrived, they found Mark Pike, 64, suffering from critical injuries as a result of the accident. Pike was pronounced dead at the scene. At least one other person sustained injuries in the accident. The name and condition of the injured victim have not been released at this time. The road was closed while police investigated the accident. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed at this time.
