Adams Township, OH (April 21, 2024) – One person was killed and another was injured after a motorcycle crash in Adams Township on Friday evening, April 19th. The crash took place just before 7:00 p.m. on State Route 29 near State Route 235.

Police say that 36-year-old James Barker, of St. Paris, was driving a motorcycle southbound on SR 235 when he lost control of the bike, causing it to travel left of center. As the motorcycle entered the northbound lanes, it struck a car head-on. Barker suffered serious injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. His passenger, 23-year-old Tiffany Crim, of Pemberton, was ejected from the motorcycle. Crim suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, 37-year-old Brittany Young, was not hurt. The accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no further information available.
