Washington Township, OH (February 14, 2024) – Police in Washington Township were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash on Wednesday, February 14th. The accident happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of Yankee Woods Drive.

According to a report from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a 3-year-old boy was getting off a bus when he was hit by a car that did not stop. The boy was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening. There is no word on whether anyone else was injured as a result of the accident. Police did not release any information on the suspect’s vehicle or a description. The road was closed while the collision was investigated and drivers were advised to use caution in the area.

Police are still looking into the incident at this time and searching for the driver. No further information is available.
