Motorcycle Accidents in Ohio

Motorcycle riding is a popular activity in Ohio. However, it also comes with serious risks. According to statistics, more than 3,500 motorcycle crashes happen in our state every year. These accidents are also very likely to result in injuries with greater than 80% of riders being injured in motorcycle collisions. Many motorcycle crashes are serious in nature, and can lead to broken bones, head trauma, soft tissue damage, neck and spinal cord trauma, and other devastating physical injuries. To make matters worse, motorcyclists are often not at fault for the collision. Driver negligence, including failing to yield the right way, speeding, and distracted driving all play a major part in many Ohio motorcycle crashes.

Under Ohio law, if you were a victim of a motorcycle accident, you could be entitled to compensation. This includes the right to be reimbursed for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical costs, and more. The value of every case must be assessed by an experienced personal injury attorney.
