Riverside, OH (February 26, 2024) –Police responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Riverside on Sunday evening, February 25th. The crash took place around 7:30 p.m. on State Route 4 near the intersection with Harshman Road.

According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Kevin McClintock, of Dayton, was traveling southbound in a 2016 Hyundai Veloster when he veered into the northbound lanes. McClintock collided head-on with a 2006 Cadillac Escalade and also struck a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. McClintock sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The Silverado driver, a 64-year-old man from Trotwood, was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries but he is expected to survive. There were no other injuries reported in the crash. At this time, the cause of the wrong-way crash remains unclear. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OSHP’s Dayton Post. No further details are available.
