Each day, hundreds of car accidents take place in Ohio. These accidents occur in a variety of locations, including busy streets and highways but also on less-traveled rural roads and even in residential areas. The common denominator among most accidents is the presence of negligent driving. Motorists who fail to obey traffic laws and who drive in a careless and reckless manner are likely to cause collisions that result in injuries to innocent drivers and passengers. Speeding, distraction, impairment, and failing to yield the right of way are among the most common types of negligent driving that we see on our state’s roadways.
