Middletown, OH (March 24, 2024) – Police in the Middletown area responded to the scene of a deadly collision on Saturday night, March 23rd. The crash was reported to have occurred around 11:15 p.m. on North Verity Parkway near Hughes Street.

When officials arrived, they found one person suffering from critical injuries. The victim succumbed to their injuries as a result of the accident. At this time it is not known how the accident took place. Officials closed the road while they investigated the collision. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. There is no information on what caused the accident to occur. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released. The road later reopened for traffic. An investigation remains ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
