Liberty Township, OH (February 20, 2024) – Officials in the Liberty Township area responded to the scene of a two-car crash on Tuesday morning, February 20th. The accident took place just before 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 13 and County Road S.
According to a report from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Steven Torok, of Napoleon, was driving westbound on County Road S. approaching the intersection with County Road 13. Torok came to the stop sign but failed to stop and collided with a car driven by a 39-year-old Napoleon woman who was traveling northbound on County Road 13. Both drivers were trapped in their cars and had to be extricated by rescue crews. Torok was airlifted to an area hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The female driver was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her identity has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. There is no additional information available.
