Jefferson Township, OH (January 22, 2024)Police in the Jefferson Tonwship area were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday morning, January 22nd. The accident happened just after 6:00 a.m. on State Route 4 near Farmersville-West Carrollton Road.

According to a report from the scene, a 2010 Acura TL and a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado collided at the scene. The driver of the Acura initially left the scene traveling southbound. However, the driver was later located by authorities and brought back to the area. An initial report indicated that the Acura was traveling southbound on Route 4 when the driver crossed into the northbound lanes and struck the Silverado head-on.

The driver of the Silverado was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no update on their condition at this time. The Acura driver was later taken to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Neither driver involved in the accident has been identified at this time.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
