Dayton, OH (January 14, 2024) – The Dayton Police Department responded to the scene of an injury accident on Saturday, January 13th. The collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. on Catalpa Drive at the intersection with West Grand Avenue.

According to an official traffic report, Thomas Torrionn, of Trotwood was driving a 2011 Dodge Durango northbound on Catalpa Drive. Torrionn came to the intersection with West Grand Avenue but failed to yield at a stop sign. As he proceeded into the intersection. Torrionn’s car collided with a white 2017 Ford Explorer in a T-bone style crash. The driver of the second vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The identity of the second driver was not released.

Following an investigation, police charged Torrionn with failing to yield the right of way. There is no additional information available at this time.
