Dayton, OH (April 9, 2024) – Police in Dayton were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday afternoon, April 8th. The crash happened around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and West Stewart Street.

According to report, a blue 2023 Kia was involved in the crash. The Kia collided with a signal box owned by the city of Dayton and a bridge barrier before coming to rest. A male and a female passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident and were transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. There is no word on the identities of the victims at this time. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police cited the driver of the Kia for failing to maintain reasonable control of a vehicle. No additional information has been released.
