Dayton, OH (March 5, 2024) – An injury crash was reported in Dayton on Monday, March 4th. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at 431 West Hillcrest Avenue.

According to a report from the Dayton Police Department, Allynn Walker, of Dayton, was driving a 2008 Honda CR-V in a westbound direction on West Hillcrest Avenue. At the same time, Lavita Williams, of Dayton, was also traveling westbound in a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The Grand Prix came to a stop and Walker failed to slow down. Walker’s vehicle collided with the back of the Grand Prix, causing both cars to suffer substantial property damage. Williams was injured in the collision and was treated at the scene. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening. No additional injuries were reported. Walker was issued a citation in connection with the collision. No further information has been released at this time.
