Dayton, OH (March 1, 2024) – The Dayton Police Department responded to the scene of an injury accident on Thursday, February 29th. The crash took place just before midnight at the intersection of East Garland Avenue and East Third Street.

According to a report from the scene, Dayton resident Kyle Clemons was driving a red 2014 Ford Focus when he came to the intersection of Garland and Third. Clemons stopped at a stop sign and attempted to make a right turn onto Third Street. His vision was obstructed by parked vehicle on the road. When he turned, Clemons failed to yield the right of way to a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Quincy Packer, of Dayton. The two vehicles collided with one another near the intersection. Packer was hurt as a result of the accident and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening. No other injuries were reported. Police did not say whether any charges would be filed. An investigation remains ongoing. There is no further information available.
