Circleville, OH (November 27, 2024) – An injury car crash occurred on Saturday afternoon involving two members of the Campbellsville University Harrodsburg basketball team, following a game against Ohio Christian University. The incident, which took place on State Route 56 near Circleville, involved a team van and another vehicle.

According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, the team van, carrying a player and a coach, collided with a car after the game. The collision resulted in significant damage to both vehicles, prompting immediate response from emergency services.

Ambulances arrived shortly after the crash and transported both the injured player and coach to Pickaway Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was also evaluated by paramedics but did not require further treatment. Firefighters assisted in extracting the individuals from the wreckage, and law enforcement secured the scene, rerouting traffic to minimize delays and ensure safety.

The authorities have confirmed that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, though early reports suggest that road conditions and visibility may have contributed to the incident. Thankfully, both basketball team members are expected to make a full recovery.
