Cincinnati, OH (March 17, 2024)- A fatal car accident was reported in Cincinnati on Saturday night, March 16th. The crash took place just before midnight in the westbound lanes of Interstate 74.

According to police, a 22-year-old man was driving Nissan Altima eastbound in the westbound lanes when he collided with a westbound Chevrolet Traverse. The Altima Driver, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The driver and two passengers in the Traverse were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No one involved in the crash has been identified at this time. The road remained closed for several hours while an investigation was conducted. During this time, motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. Police believe that speeding and impairment factors in the collision. An investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department.
