Centerville, OH (February 24, 2024) – Police in the Centerville area were called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Friday, February 23rd. The collision took place at the intersection of Spring Valley Pike and South Main Street around 9:20 a.m.

According to a report from authorities, Pamela Engster, of Centerville, was driving a 2017 Lexus on Spring Valley Pike when she came to a stop in the southbound lanes. At the same time, Zoe Sink, of Dayton, was operating a 2011 Toyota Camry in the southbound lanes. Sink failed to slow her vehicle’s speed and collided with the back of Engster’s car. Engster suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident and received medical treatment. Sink was not hurt. Officers issued Sink a citation for failing to maintain a safe distance from Engster’s vehicle. No additional details have been released regarding the crash at this time.
