Centerville, OH (January 24, 2024) – The Centerville Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday, January 22nd. The crash happened around 10:50 a.m. along Far Hills Avenue.

According to a report from the area, a vehicle was traveling on Far Hills Avenue when the driver tried to make a right turn into a parking lot. A second vehicle was traveling behind the first vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle failed to reduce their speed, resulting in a rear-end collision between the two cars. The driver of the first vehicle sustained injuries in the accident and was treated by emergency workers. There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time. Following an investigation, the driver of the second vehicle was charged with failing to maintain a safe distance. The road was partially blocked while police investigated. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel. Officials have not released any additional information regarding the accident.
