Buckeye Lake, OH (June 23, 2024) – A car accident resulted in injuries near Buckeye Lake on Friday afternoon, June 21st. The collision occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on Roley Hills Road.
According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a Nissan Maxima and a Dodge Caravan were traveling in opposite directions when one of the vehicles crossed the center line and went into the other lane of travel, resulting in a head-on collision. The 38-year-old female driver of the Caravan, along with two passengers, were transported to an area hospital but there is no word on their injuries at this time. The 17-year-old Maxima driver was also transported with serious injuries. The identities of the victims were not immediately available. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No additional details are available.
