Dayton, OH (June 21, 2024) – The Dayton Police Department responded to the scene of a two-car crash with injuries on Thursday, June 20th. The accident took place just after midnight along Wayne Street near the intersection with Glencoe Avenue.
According to a report from the area, a 1997 GMC Suburban driven by Adrian Torres was traveling southbound on Wayne Avenue when he crossed the center line of the roadway and collided head-on with a northbound Volkswagen Tiguan driven by Lamar Jackson, of Dayton. Jackson’s passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident and was treated by officials with the Dayton Fire Department at the scene. There is no further update on his condition. Torres fled the scene following the accident. An investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time. No further details are available.
