Car Accidents in Ohio

Car accidents in Ohio can lead to serious, painful, and sometimes permanent injuries. According to the Ohio Department of Public Safety, more than 600 crashes are reported daily on our state’s roadways. These crashes often affect innocent victims who were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time when the accident occurred. Negligent drivers play a prominent role in many Ohio car accidents. Some examples of negligent driving include: speeding, reckless driving, operating a vehicle under the influence, distraction, and failure to yield.

If you or a family member have sustained injuries in an Ohio car accident, you should speak with a skilled attorney as soon as possible. The other driver’s insurance company will likely reach out to you in an effort to settle your claim early in the case. Many crash victims make the mistake of negotiating with the insurance adjuster prior to seeking the assistance of a lawyer. This results in a less-than-adequate settlement for your injuries. The insurance company is only out for a quick settlement. The adjuster does not work for you and does not have your best legal interest in mind.
