Clayton, OH – Two-Car Injury Crash Reported on SR-48

Clayton, OH (April 22, 2024) – Police in the Clayton area were dispatched to the scene of a two-car accident on Sunday, April 21st. The accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on State Route 48 near the intersection with Garber Road.

According to a report from the area, a vehicle was traveling southbound on SR-48 when the driver came to the intersection that was controlled by a stop light. The driver had a red traffic signal in their lane of travel but failed to stop and collided in the intersection with a second car driven by Doneika Moore, of Dayton. As a result of the crash, Moore suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Miami Valley North for treatment. There is no update on her condition at this time. No additional injuries were reported. Following an investigation, the driver of the first vehicle was charged failure to obey a traffic signal. There is no further information available.
